I have selected 3 high-quality papers for my illustrations...

for "the prints

FUJI CRYSTAL ARCHIVE DP II Matte surface 234g/m²

Fuji Crystal Archive DP II is an affordable and high-quality brand-name photo paper. It produces vibrant colours and great contrast. The matte surface gives a natural look and reduced reflections. Fuji Crystal DP II is Fujicolor’s leading photo paper for gallery prints. This paper has an extremely wide colour gamut and is non-fade for at least 75 years.

HAHNEMÜHLE FINEART PEARL silk gloss surface 285g/m²

For outstanding depth with precise contrasts. Bright white with a special coating for a refined pearl finish. Hahnemühle’s authentic art papers are regarded as top of the line. It is often used for exhibitions and limited edition art prints. The Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl is stunning thanks to excellent image quality and brilliant colour gradation. A really beautiful paper, my favourite.

HAHNEMÜHLE PHOTO RAG fine soft matte surface 308g/m²

One of the most robust papers from Hahnemühle. It is made of 100% cotton and has a matte surface. With its soft and fine texture, this paper is very versatile and is just as well suited to colour prints as it is to deep blacks and pure whites. The Hahnemühle Rag is an amazing paper for all kinds of images and for high pictorial depth.

The illustrations displayed in the Last Corner shop are carefully produced with the giclée process to maximise colour accuracy and resolution. Giclée (French for “sprayed”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed to saturate the fibres of the highest-quality papers. Resulting in pure, rich colours and remarkable details.

9 colours print using Epson UltraChrome Pro pigments. Extra powerful details with nuanced colour differences

I do not manage the printing of the artwork you will receive. As the printing process being a real art itself, I chose to work with a professional German printing company. This company uses the Epson UltraChrome Pro pigments to ensure the finest tonal gradation. Six colours and three shades of black provide all the nuances and emphasise every detail. Pictures are reproduced at an ultra-high resolution of 1,440 dpi with perfect grey balance. Extremely long-lasting colour that is true to the original.

The illustrations displayed on this site are sold ready to fit A3, A2, 50 x 40cm and 50 x 70cm frames.

My best advice for an affordable and superb rendering is to combine your print with an IKEA RIBBA frame.

The IKEA prices are +/- €9 for a 50 x 40cm frame

and +/- €15 for a 50 x 70cm.

For the A European sizes (A2 or A3), affordable frames can be easily found on Amazon.

It is the best value, nice looking and easiest way to frame your new prints.
