LOTUS 25-CLIMAX Charade 1965

LOTUS 25-CLIMAX Charade 1965

from 45.00

The little but very efficient Lotus 25 driven by the Great Jim Clark during the French Grand Prix in 1965.

Despite the introduction of the Lotus 33 in 1964, the 25 was still used until well into the 1965 season, Clark taking the car's final win during this race in France at the circuit de Charade in Auvergne.

It was designed by Renault and was used for the 1965 Formula One season. The car was a real success. The Lotus-Climax 25 with Jim Clark as the main driver, managed to win the race and record the fastest lap. This was an incredible year for Jim Clark who won six of the ten races that year and a huge point lead over the second place. This poster shows the car during the race of 1965 at the French Grand Prix where Jim Clark managed to end the race in 1st place and secure the Formula One title.
